MEETING POINT: W BOUY 19
JUST OUTSIDE OF COASTERA
Join us on an unforgettable voyage as we set sail alongside the illustrious Star of
India for its first majestic voyage in five years! With the winds of cooperation in
our favor, the Star of India will depart from the Maritime Museum of San Diego,
embarking on a journey that will take her through San Diego Bay, ultimately
reaching a position two to three miles west of Point Loma. Here, under the
watchful eye of weather permitting skies, the tow will be cast aside, and the Star
of India will unfurl her magnificent sails.
As we navigate the open sea, the Star of India will showcase her nautical prowess,
performing exhilarating maneuvers that will leave you in awe. When
circumstances permit, the Californian and San Salvador will join us, sailing in close
company with the Star of India, creating a captivating spectacle on the horizon.
Come 3:00 p.m., the Star of India, Californian, and San Salvador will rendezvous at
the entrance to San Diego Bay, a moment that will be nothing short of
extraordinary. And as the sun begins to set, the Star of India will secure her berth
back at the Maritime Museum of San Diego at 5:00 p.m., concluding a day of
maritime adventure you won't want to miss!
