Description: This class is taught as a home study. Students must demonstrate the navigational theory required to safely navigate a sailing vessel in coastal or inland waters. There are no sailing skills as part of this standard; the skills are incorporated into the 106 Advanced Coastal Cruising Standard.
For members and non-members Testing and Certification only the cost is $135.
Tutoring available at $25/hour, 2 hour minimum.
Students can schedule their exam at anytime based on Instructor availability. Occasionally, Seaforth will open up group test dates, typically immediately before the next scheduled ASA 106 course date.
